I’ll just put in some dialogue below to see what I mean: Guardian of Time: Suppose you have regained that power. Their conversation basically heats up into an argument whether or not he’s worth using such power. ULTIMATE SHINING ULTRAMAN ZERO HOW TOZero explains to the guardian that he only wanted to learn how to summon the golden power again, but was met with plenty of refusals and rejections. And although he invited Zero into his realm, he questioned the Ultra’s reasoning for seeking it. Figuring he was finally invited to visit the Waterfall of Time, he entered through it, and was transported through a dream-like space that’s glowing in a pale golden color.Īfter that, the story introduces a new character: The Guardian of Time. It’s then he eventually found a small golden portal overlaying his abdomen after resting. However he’s still very determined to find it and continued his journey whilst battling villains that seek revenge against him. His search hasn’t been very fruitful at first, since no one has ever heard of the Waterfall of Time, and his only clue was that it was a place he can only be invited to. Hoping this would be his ticket to summoning his golden power again, he goes on a journey. Zero then heard rumors of the Waterfall of Time. It also doesn’t help that he couldn’t remember how he gained the golden power, and it really bugged him. The story even describes how the whole experience left Zero scarred. It’s revealed that his anxieties stem from his last battle against Belial - how he fell for his trap, his friends slain by his hand, etc. Then we are introduced to Ultraman Zero who is venturing throughout space and described to be more tense than usual, a far cry from his usual carefree demeanor. That basically establishes the story’s setting right now as this took place some time after Ultra Zero Fight. The chapter starts off with a very poetic opening about the unchanging constant of time, but then later talks about how that constant was broken when Zero gained the ability to turn back time momentarily with a golden light. Chapter 1: Ultraman Zero – The Waterfall of Time Please note that some of these lines aren’t 100% accurate translations! I’m just going off by two online translators are telling me and also relying on a bunch of dictionaries and friends fluent in the language to figure out words I still can’t quite get. What I can do is just share a somewhat lengthy summary of events that took place within the story, to give you an idea what happened! I hope you enjoy! Now, I can’t post the entire chapter itself on here as they’re meant to be read via Tsuburaya Imagination, and you’re supposed to be a subscriber to read them. Then on March 2021, Galaxy closed down with Imagination opening up in the following month. Originally the story was published on Tsuburaya Galaxy, Tsupro’s monthly digital magazine, but by February 2021 they announced that they would discontinue the service to users to make way for their brand new streaming platform - Tsuburaya Imagination. And it’s something that I was looking forward to for a while! This project too is part of the Ultraman Zero 10th Anniversary event that’s been going on at that time. Around summer of 2020, Tsupro announced that they will be releasing chapters of a novel about the Ultimate Force Zero’s adventures after the events of Ultra Zero Fight but before Ultraman Geed.
